CVA Facilities Maintenance
Top of Page

CVA's board of directors has a Finance and Facilities committee that monitors and helps manage large scale items for the school and for Virtual Properties, the affiliated building corporation. Virtual Properties also has a board that meets as needed, but at a minimum annually to discuss any items related to facility maintenance, care and updates.

CVA follows required laws by the state.  A long term facilities maintenance plan is in the works starting the 2024-2025 school year. Since we are in our 3rd year of ownership as Virtual Properties, we now have attended to our immediate needs and can have a more detailed plan as we move forward.

Ongoing areas of focus will be our HVAC system, Fire and Security Systems and regular maintenance.  Annual inspections and other required inspections and tests are done and recorded. For example, sprinkler system inspections, elevator inspections, Fire Marshall inspections, Lead testing for water systems, etc. are done on the required time lines.
