Paraprofessional (Special Education)
Full-time position available for the remainder of the 2018-19 School Year.

Start date: to be determined

Job responsibilities
  • Work directly with students in classrooms and in small settings to provide academic support to students.
  • Take direction from and work with teachers to support classroom activities for the whole class or for particular students.
  • Review and implement accommodations for specific students as outlined in the student's IEP.
  • Complete written work as directed by supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job qualifications
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and positive working relationships with students and teachers
  • Patience and calmness with students of all abilities and personalities
  • Competent technology and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree, or otherwise meets requirements of a "highly qualified paraprofessional."
Reports to: Special Education Director
Pay: $16/hour
Full-time schedule: 8 am - 4 pm Monday thru Friday
Full-time calendar: Academic calendar: all staff days

Special Education Teacher

Cyber Village Academy has an opening for a full time Special Education teacher. The ideal candidate is licensed in SLD , is familiar with a variety of face-to-face and online instructional techniques, and is interested in a flexible, small school environment working with a close team of teachers, paraprofessionals and service providers. Other licensure areas are welcome to apply.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
  • Instruct students individually and in groups, using various teaching methods.  
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
  • Observe and evaluate students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
  • Create a positive environment to ensure successful learning for all students.
  • Attend professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence.
  • Understand and maintain boundaries and confidentiality with students, families and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications:
  • Appropriate Minnesota teaching licensure for subject area and level taught.
  • Effective oral and written expression.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Strong communication skills verbally, orally and written
  • Prompt, regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to perform routine computer functions, including the use of email and Microsoft Word.
  • Communicates with students, parents, co-workers, supervisors, and the community in a positive and responsive way that is consistently welcoming and enhances effective work relationships.
  • Demonstrates an appreciation of diversity in all interactions and job functions.
  • Organized, flexible and task oriented.
Pay: Based on salary schedule and experience.

Bus Driver

Cyber Village Academy, a K-12 charter school, is seeking a school bus driver for 2018-19 school years.

We are looking for dependable, dedicated and determined drivers to transport students safely to and from school. Our school is located in the Highland area of St. Paul and currently transports approximately 40 students during our on-campus days.

This is a part-time position, our on campus days are Monday – Wednesday with morning and afternoon routes. Opportunities for extra hours are available.

We are currently offering a sign-on bonus of $1500.  Pay starting at $25.00.


  • At least 21 years of age
  • Class B Driver license is a bonus!
  • Training is available for anyone willing to obtain a CDL (commercial driver’s license)
