Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Full time, 40 hours/week, 190 days)
Start date: April 10 or as soon as possible.

Job responsibilities:
  • Front office receptionist
  • Attendance tracking & reporting
  • Truancy
  • Parent/volunteer coordination
  • After-school program coordination
  • Student care (e.g. minor first aid and TLC)
  • Weekly newsletter
  • Processing paperwork and money for lunch, field trips, etc.
  • Other duties  as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision
  • Personable and professional on the phone and in person with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and relationships
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • First Aid training preferred
Reports to Student Services Coordinator, Director
Pay: $16/hour + benefits
Schedule: 7:45-4:15, 5 days/week

Paraprofessional

Paraprofessional (Special Education)
 
Full time position available.

Start date: April 10.

Job responsibilities
  • Work directly with students in classrooms and in small settings to provide academic support to students
  • Take direction from and work with teachers to support classroom activities for the whole class or for particular students
  • Complete written work as directed by supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job qualifications
  • Excellent ability to build rapport and positive working relationships with students and teachers
  • Patience and calmness with students of all abilities and personalities
  • Competent technology and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree, or otherwise meets requirements of a "highly qualified paraprofessional."
Reports to: Special Education Director
Pay: $16/hour plus benefits with increases based on performance
Full-time schedule: 8 am - 4 pm Monday thru Friday
Full-time calendar: Academic calendar: all staff days

Special Education Teacher

Cyber Village Academy has an opening for a full time Special Education teacher for high school students. The ideal candidate is licensed in EBD or ASD, is familiar with a variety of face-to-face and online instructional techniques, and is interested in a flexible, small school environment working with a close team of teachers, paraprofessionals and service providers.
